No stairs? Got hay bales?

Howdy!
(Yes I’m taking these hay bales too seriously!)
Last spring I found these hay bales fallen off a truck (yes I have been hoarding these babies months in advance for my fall décor... I'm committed... maybe crazy) Flash forward to getting ready to decorate our front porch and I find myself as always wishing I had stairs leading to our front door to adorn with pumpkins on pumpkins.

I mean COME ON. It doesn't get better than that!

But reality... I don't have the stairs.

So I broke down the design concept. I wanted multiple levels to decorate. Then the hay bales flashed in my mind! I already wanted to use them in my design so why not use them as my "stairs" so to speak. Flash forward and I LOVE HOW THEY TURNED OUT.

What do you think? Would you try this idea as a plan B?
